PixelShield collects nothing and sends nothing. All data stays on your device. We physically cannot spy on you because our Content Security Policy blocks all network connections.
PixelShield stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data is stored in Chrome's local storage API and never transmitted anywhere.
PixelShield's Content Security Policy includes connect-src: none. This is enforced by Chrome itself — not by our promises. The extension is physically incapable of making any network request. You can verify this in Chrome's DevTools.
You can export all locally-stored data as JSON or delete all data from the PixelShield settings page at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes all data.
PixelShield uses no third-party services, no analytics platforms, no crash reporting, and no advertising networks. The only external connection is to our payment provider when you activate a Pro license key.
PixelShield does not knowingly collect data from users under 13. The extension requires a Google account to use Gmail, which itself requires users to be 13+.
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and note the change in the extension's update notes.
